In Snail Garden, CoDE Studio responded to the prompt: design a functional and inviting campus space where students, faculty, and visitors can pause, relax, and enjoy meaningful, stress-relieving experiences. Inspired by the slow, deliberate pace of a snail, the space encourages visitors to savor moments of calm, leave their phones behind, and connect with nature. The design leverages the snail's characteristics to create unique spatial and sensory experiences that guide visitors toward intentional relaxation.
